Andrea Kaminski

My Career at St. Damian started as I became a 2nd Grade Aide. I have also worked as an Aide in 1st Grade and Kindergarten for many years. While I was a Teacher’s Aide I also worked in the Pastoral Center in the evenings. I was given the opportunity to work in the Extended Day Program and then became the Director. I wouldn’t be here for 25 years if I didn’t LOVE my job. St. Damian is my home away from home. The children in our program are my “Extended Family”. While their parents are working their children are in a safe and caring environment. My husband John and I have been married for over 35 years. We have 3 children who are all graduates of St. Damian School. This year both our daughters will be married and we will be blessed with two wonderful new son-in-laws. Outside of work my husband and I love to travel. Almost every year we head out to Mesa Arizona for Cubs Spring training. “GO CUBS GO!” We also enjoy traveling to other countries with our children and friends.
