Edward Mottier
- M.A. Education, St. Xavier University
I am a graduate from Saint Xavier University with sixteen years of teaching experience. I have taught reading, language arts, and literature to 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students, all core subjects at the intermediate level, and middle school science and social studies in both public and Catholic school settings. I am a level three certified catechist, a Saint Rita High School alumnus, and graduate from Saint Xavier University. I am born and bred on the South Side of Chicago. I believe in Catholic education, which is why my daughter has attended and will continue to attend a Catholic school. I believe in the Catholic faith and the sacramental life, which is why my family and I attend mass every Sunday, and on holy days of obligation. When not at our school, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, shuttling her to her many sports and extra-curricular activities. Our leisurely activities include biking, playing tennis, and basketball as well as reading and critiquing novels and discussing films. I am a huge sports fanatic. Go White Sox!
