I am elated to be joining the St. Damian family for the 2019-2020 school year as one of the third-grade teachers. Being a Catholic school teacher is one of my greatest accomplishments, and I have been blessed to share my talents and training with many children over a period of 12 years at St. Turibius School in Chicago, St. Mary School in Park Forest, and Everest Academy in Lemont. In addition, I ran my own private tutoring business and substitute taught in the New Lenox District 122 Schools while raising my sons.

I have taught in the capacities of grades 2-5 where my love for intermediate grade level curriculum and children was established. Most recently, I have taught fourth grade for the past 5 years.

My family and I have been parishioners of St. Jude Parish in New Lenox for 16 years. This July, my husband and l celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary.  In addition, my other proudest accomplishments are my two sons.  This upcoming school year, both boys will be attending Lincoln Way Central High School.  My oldest, an accomplished swimmer, will be a junior; and my youngest, a diehard baseball player, will be a freshman. As a family, we are White Sox fans, love Disney World, and enjoy visiting National Parks.

I look forward to meeting, collaborating, and partnering with the parents and staff at St. Damian. Most importantly, I am excited to start my journey at St. Damian with the amazing students. I am truly blessed to be welcomed and part of the St. Damian community.
